Abstract
One of the new treatment approaches is regenerative medicine, which has the ability to regenerate damaged cells and tissues and restore their function. Recently, regenerative medicine based on stem cells shown promising results in the treatment of corneal diseases. This poster presents an overview of stem cell therapy in corneal diseases and various aspects. It also refers to the results of clinical studies conducted so far and future research aspects.Biography
I am Masoumeh Ahadi. Recently, I am graduated PhD in optometry and visual science from Shahid Beheshti university of medical science, Iran. I am a member from one research group in university. My thesis is was "Differentiation of Human Adipose-derived Stem Cells to stromal Keratocyte: In vivo". I'm going to present a poster about stem cells and corneal diseases in this congress. My purpose of presenting this poster is to increase the information of researchers and eye clinicians with new aspects of treatment such as stemcell therapy and corneal diseases.
