Abstract
Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni a perennial shrub belongs to Asteraceae. The seeds of Stevia show a very low germination percentage. The effect of pre-treatment with biologically active substances seeds of stevia collected from plants adapted to Kazakhstan conditions was studied.High rates were observed with a long (1 hour) processing seed extracts of stevia made from 0,001-0,0001% of dry leaves alcohol-based (95-98%) and from 0.01 to 0.1% of dry leaves on a water basis (75-83%).Inhibiting effect was observed during the pre-processing of seeds of 0.001-0.1% steviosid (60-70%) and 0.0001-0.1% of the amount of glycosides (20-40%).
