For an ergonomic work effectively it is necessary that the profile of the components of work: professional environment, tasks
and operational mode, paraque thereafter, be made a diagnosis and then appropriate changes in work components.
Objective: To determine the profile of members of the work in the emergency telephone service of the Military Police of São
Paulo, Brazil.
Method: 6 visits every 8 hours, in the workplace during the operation of the service, questionnaire research about the components
of the works cited above.
Results: Professionals are men (54.4%), between 20 and 30 years (53.7%), secondary education (74.3%), married (55%), have
leisure (50.7 %) are more than three years in this role (65.5%) say they are tired (75.7%), where 39.7% allocate the physical
and 37% a mental and physical strength are in the hands ( 53%) feel pain in your body after working hours (72.7%), had no
occupational sick leave (55.8%), like the function they perform (58.8%), are not hours extra (75.5%) are satisfied with the current
time work (70%) work in an accelerated fashion (75.7%), have good interpersonal skills (75.7%) and with its head (50% ) grating
in the environment, consider the lighting good (49%), low temperature (47%) and background noise (50.7%).
Conclusion: The 190 service, phone has a unique requirement of performance components, physical, cognitive and emotional
training, when attendance is associated with a social security assistance, they would get bigger, so some conditions can not be
changed by the very characteristic of the necessary activities. According to what has been collected, the component that is in need
of change is the physical environment, with others in accordance with standard operating and labor standards in the country
