Abstract
The effect of Caffeine and Coffee extract on the bahavoior of mice has been investigated. Method: 55 male animals (22-25 g) were used. Behavioral tests used are: effect on memory processing, effect on locomotor activity, conditioned-avoidance test, motor coordination test and sleeping time. Results: Coffee extract does not hardly affected memory or motor coordination of animals. It enhanced the locomotor activity of animals. Conclusion: Coffee at tolerated doses safely increased CNS activity and does not hardly affect memory or motor coordination of animals.
