Biological invasion is an ecological phenomena that some alien species enter a new habit and be able to survive, grow and
regenerate. Biological invasion happened very widely in China. In this study, we investigated the relationship between
climate zonation and biological invasion severity. Climate data included temperature, precipitation, air relative humidity, wind
speed in 700 stations, and biological invasion data included species number, density of occurrence and geographic location and
economic losses statistics. The Biological invasion is defined as an index -Biological invasion severity, which is a measure of
biological invasion species number, density, and sequences combined at a specific region. The results showed that climate is a
main regulation factor to control biological invasion severity. The higher the temperature, the bigger the severity. The more the
precipitation or the air relative humidity, the bigger the severity. Hence, biological invasion severity in China showed a pattern,
which is the south and the east suffered more biological invasion than the north and the west.
