Abstract
We reported a case of precursor-B acute lymphoblastic leukaemia with an unusual chromosomal aberration der(9;17) (q10;q10). The diagnosis at presentation was made by the morphology and flow cytometry findings. Cytogenetic analysis and FISH studies were also performed at presentation. To the best of our knowledge and after literature search this appears to be the first report of such a cytogenetic abnormality in acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
