Informational surveillance and technologies enhancing healthcare
W
ithout the creation of informational technological surveillance of epidemiology globally, we will never be able to
proactively stop the spread of pandemics including measles, mumps, rubella, Ebola and others from one region to
another. By partnering with AT&TGlobal, Apple, IBM, CISCO Systems and Verizon Business International, constant clustering
of global networks for use in medical facilities, schools, universities, airports, aircraft and other areas where people from
around the world interact is created. In doing so, it is hoped to decrease first response treatment times, improve outcomes and
reduce liability for service providers. This presentation will provide an overview of the research and work thus far as well as the
potential for future applications in aviation, agriculture and education.
