Contamination of water bodies like groundwater, lakes, oceans, rivers etc. is known as water pollution. Pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into water bodies without any treatment to remove harmful compounds causes water pollution which affects plants and organisms living in water. Damage is not only to individual species and populations, but also to the natural biological communities.
A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, short communications, letters, and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields.
