Vivekananda Global University is a private university[1] located in Jaipur, in Rajasthan in India. The university is located at Jagatpura Area. It is established under the Act No.11/2012 of the Government of Rajasthan, Private University Estd. in Rajasthan State by Act No . 15 of year 2012. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. The university was founded by the Bagaria Education Trust, which established the Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management & Gramothan at Jaipur in 2000 and the Marudhar Engineering College at Bikaner in 2003, They also founded VIT Campus, comprises Vivekananda Institute of Technology and Vivekananda Institute of Technology (East), named after the great Swami Vivekananda. Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, is their 9th venture and it will begin its third academic session in 2014-15.
