University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences

The forerunner of UCAS was the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences (GSCAS), which was established in 1978 as the main doctoral level college in China by endorsement of the State Council. UCAS graduated the principal doctoral understudy in science, first doctoral understudy in building, first female doctoral understudy and first understudy with twofold doctoral degrees in China. In 2014, UCAS started to enroll students.
