University of Occupational and Environmental Health Japan is a private university in Japan, established in 1978. As community becomes progressively welfare-oriented and medical care requirements grow and broaden, there is an immediate need for training physicians with firm values and a thorough understanding of the role of medical care technology in community. From 1977 to till date various measures were taken and various departments and facilities were introduced by the University such as Establishment of the University of Occupational and Environmental Health, The School of Occupational and Community Health Nursing, The Courses of Environmental Management, Establishment of the School of Health Sciences was approved. In reaction to such social requirements, University of Occupational and Environmental Health was established for the purpose of advertising work-related and ecological wellness and to train excellent work-related wellness physicians, work-related wellness nursing staff and ecological management technologists in this field while offering education and performing research in the general areas of medical care technology.
