University of Fukui was founded in the year 1949 with the integration of Fukui Normal School, Fukui Normal School for Youth and Fukui Technical College. It is a national public university of Japan which is located in the city of Fukui.
The president of the university is Masaru Fukuda. At present there are more than 5000 students in the university. There are two faculties in the beginning later further more faculties are included.
The main mission of the university is to contribute to the society through education, medical care and research. The university serves as center for academic and cultural activities. The University of Fukui had high sense of ethics, which mainly aims to impart world class education in global level.
