The theological college Evangelical Lutheran is one of the universities of Budapest , founded in 1557 in Sopron . She is the heiress of the Latin School of Sopron. Later the Evangelical Lutheran Theological School of Sopron ( Soproni Evangélikus Teológiai FÃ âiskola ) ( 1892 - 1923 ) Integrated in 1923 as the Faculty of Evangelical Lutheran Theology of the Hungarian Royal University Elisabeth (Magyar Királyi Erzsébet Egyetem ) ( 1923 - 1951 ). In 1951, it operates as Evangelical Lutheran Theological Academy ( Evangélikus Teológiai Akadémia ) ( 1951 - 1998 ). In 1998, it took its current form. Royal Hungarian University Elisabeth ( Magyar Királyi Erzsébet Egyetem ) ( 1923 - 1951 ).
