Universitas Padjadjaran is a higher learning institution and is located in Bandung, Indonesia. It was established on 11th of September 1957. When established, it has only four deparments of law, medicine, economics and mathematics but now it is running different programmes like several postgraduate programmes, 44 undergraduate programmes, 2 specialist programmes, 9 doctorate programmes, 19 Masters degree programmes, 5 profession programmes, one four-year diploma program, and 32 three-year diploma programs.
The mission of the university is to provide education which can meet the demands of user community of high education services which will further help in the development of intellectual and social welfare.
University is cooperating with various interior and foreign corporations like government institutions, colleges, NGOs, companies, international institute. Along with this, it provide various facilities such as housing, education support facilities ,health facilities, sport facilities, transportation, banking ,meeting rooms and other facilities. This year university is going to conduct various activities such as 5th Congress of Indonesian Marine and Fisheries Socio-Economics Research Network (IMFISERN), anti-corruption movement with the involvement of the students as agents of change in the future.
