Universidad Nacional de Entre Rios was founded in 1973, by Law No. 20,366. Dr Marsiglia was appointed as Rector in 1973. In a particular period there was a sudden reduction of university funding, no new careers or universities which leads to disconnection of university from scientific or technological research. In, 1918 University Reform was initiated. The task of reorganizing the Universidad Nacional De Entre Ríos was assigned to Dr. Eduardo Barbagelata. Finally, first Rector was elected in the first University Assembly in the history of the Entre Ríos National University. Since then governing bodies democratically electe authorities for governing. University provides Short Courses (Undergraduate), Grade, Postgraduate, From distance. University has offices in Concepción del Uruguay, in the City of Concordia, in Parana, in City of Villaguay, in Oro Verde. In the City of Concordia there are faculties of Food Science and Administration. Faculties of Economic Sciences, Education Sciences and Social Work, and a Sub-headquarters of the Rectorate are in the city of Villaguay. Faculties of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering are located in Oro Verde. Faculty of Food Science, is located in Parana. Currently in this university they dictate undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses of various disciplines. To promote the development of mechanisms to achieve interaction between educational contents and technological-productive processes, UNER signing of agreements between business, commercial, Governmental organizations and civil society. Faculties and venues of the university contains Bromatology, Administration Sciences, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Food Sciences, Economic Sciences, Education Sciences, Health Sciences, Social work.
