In this scenario, there is an ample opportunity in serving the society especially socially and economically weaker sections of the people to provide free medical facilities by a new multi-specialty Hospital and associated Medical College in Mangalore Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District. The establishment of a Super-speciality Hospital with over 20 departments and an associated world class Medical College with annual intake of 150 students for MBBS and mentor at least 20 research scholars every year for deserving candidates was a dream of CA A Raghavendra Rao, President of A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangalore, and the Vice-President Mr Srinivas Rao.
