Oita University is a national university in Ōita, Ōita, Japan. The precursor of the school was founded in 1921 and was chartered as a university in 1949. Oita University fosters the people rich in creativity, social abilities, and humanity through education and research in the humanities, the social sciences, and the natural sciences. In addition, it also actively contribute to peace and development in the world. It will play an active role in promoting human welfare and creating new culture.
