Kyung Hee University is a private research university was established in the year 1949 by Dr. Young Seek Choue. This university has 2979 academic staffs and about 31000 students is located in Seoul, South Korea. Some of the academic achievements of this university include UNESCO Prize for Peace Education-2006, Penn-Kyung Hee Collaborative Summer Program, and two years later a formal Global Collaborative with Peking, Ritsumeikan, and Moscow State universities; the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs; and the Conference of NGOs. This University established the International Studies of Oriental Medicine to broaden its reach to international scholars in the year 1998. This university has ten faculties, seventeen graduate schools, fourteen research institutes, and twenty-one research and educational centers.
