Dr. Aggeliki Tavernaraki took over the direction Saint Savvas Anticancer Institute after the establishment of National health system. Saint Savvas undertakes diagnostic (fine needle biopsies, virtual endoscopies, 3D remodeling CT) and therapeutic (microinterventional techniques of radiofrequencies and alcohol infusion in liver lesions, bones, etc., nefrostomes and drainages).The Saint Savvas has qualified consultant radiologists, resident radiologists, technicians, nurses-mail nurses. Sain Savvas has teahing files such as 3D and Virtual Endoscopy in Urology , CT-guided FNA of Mediastinal Masse, Virtual Bronchoscopy with CT , Virtual Colonoscopy , Diseases of the airways in childhood, Bone Tumors for the benefit of the radiologists.
