Hubei University of Chinese Medicine is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, in China. It was founded in the year 1958 and first it was founded as Hubei Vocational School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There are 26 majors which cover the branches of law, science, engineering, management and art. The State Educational Committee has authorized the university to be one of the first batches to enroll students in overseas based uon the outstanding study surroundings and living conditions in the campus. Recently, many students from overseas of various countries and districts has been given training and there is advancement in their specialties and academic degrees. The college is composed of 3 departments having 7 divisions, like Acupuncture division, Division of TCM and moxibustion, Advanced TCM Nursing, Traditional Pharmacy, TCM ENT and TCM Surgery. For enrolling graduate students, there are 13 specialties including doctoral degrees in programs such as "Yellow Emperors Canon of Classic Medicine" and acupuncture which have been installed since 1990. In addition, the university is affiliated with three teaching hospitals in the region. Hubei University of Chinese Medicine (HBTCM) is a Provincial teaching team of typhoid and basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine. HUCM has 14 specialties. It has doctor degree and 24 of master. The history of Hubei University of Chinese Medicine dates back to 1958 when it was first founded as Hubei Vocational School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
