Hamamatsu University was built as Tokoha Gakuen Hamamatsu University Tokoha Gakuen in 1988. In 1998, it transformed its name to "Hamamatsu University". Hamamatsu University School of Medicine is a national college in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan, established in 1974. Hamamatsu University included a Department of International Economics in 1994 and a graduate studies program in 1996.
