Among the strongest scientific and strategic partners are the RWTH Aachen University of Technology , the French Commissariat à lÉnergie Atomique et aux Égies Alternatives (CEA) , the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in the USA, the Moscow Institute Of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in Russia and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in China. The cooperation includes joint institutes of the Research Centre and RWTH, which are located within the JARA sections.
