Dubai Pharmacy College was established in the year 1992 by the eminent philanthropist, Haji Saeed Bin Ahmed Al Lootah with a vision of educating girls on the field of pharmacy. Dubai Pharmacy College is the first pharmacy in UAE. DPC is committed to providing an accredited Bachelor of Pharmacy degree that incorporates the best professional practice experience and a learning environment, both inside, and outside the classroom that fosters Islamic values while promoting high levels of student achievement, consistent with the highest standards of academic excellence. In 2005, it won the Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme award for education. DPC fosters technological innovation, development & research; thus a manufacturing unit for Drugs has been set up. It facilitates the students to have a hands-on approach to drug manufacturing and delivery systems.
