Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital has adopted e-hospital. It is a Central Government run Hospital located at very prime place on Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi which is very close to Parliament, Rastrapati Bhavan, North Avenue, Connaught Place. It is surrounded by VIP s residence and easily approachable from road, rail and air. This hospital started in 1932 by Lord Willington to have medical facility to them and their relatives having 32 indoor bed capacity. It has grown up to 1420 beds capacity having various speciality and super specialities. In 2008 a Post graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is established to impart the training in Post Graduate Medical Education. It is imparting MD/MS /MCh/DM to total 133 PG students now, in various subjects recognized by MCI and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indra Prastha University New Delhi . It has plan to expand in new courses like Endocrinology Community Medicine, Anatomy Physiology, Forensic Medicine etc. It is already on the way to start M Phil and PhD courses in Medical Sciences.
