Calorx Teachers University The Calorx Teachers University was established in 2009. It was started as a training college for teachers and established as Private University by Gujarat State Government Act 8 of 2009 notification. It is promoted by the Kalorex Group of Companies, New Delhi which was established in 1995. CTU is approved by UGC, NCTE and is recognized by Association of Indian Universities. It is around 25 Kms away from the Ahmedabad railway station and 15 Kms from the nearest airport. The institute is situated in Ognaj village in Ahmedabad district in Greenwud campus. In a short time, CTU has earned a reputation for being one of the best universities in Gujarat with the high academic standards the university has set. Currently the university is offering courses like Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral level programmes (B.A.B.Ed., B.Ed.(Innovative) and M.Phil./Ph.D.).
