This is a medical condition which includes swelling or puffiness on a localized spot on the vertebra. There are several types of spondylitis, they include; pottâs disease, ankylosing spondylitis, spondylodiscitis. Mostly the back pain and neck pain is the result of spondylitis. Spondylitis also involves one or more vertebral joints as well, which is called spondylarthritis. Spondylitis causes severe pain around neck and shoulders. Itâs very difficult to detect spondylitis in early stage. Usually it is detected after it is fully developed.
