The Scandinavian Society of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine

The scandinavian society of clinical physiology and nuclear medicine was first adopted at a general meeting held in Gentofte, Copenhagen, on 13 June 1980.The objects for which the Society was established were to promote scientific collaboration, to promote the publication of scientific work and to promote supplementary training and updating courses within the fields of clinical physiology and nuclear medicine in Scandinavia. The Society is an association of the following national societies: Danish Society of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, the Finnish Society of Clinical Physiology, the Swedish Society of Clinical Physiology, the Swedish Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Norwegian Society of Nuclear Medicine and the Finnish Society of Nuclear Medicine. The journal of the society is called clinical Physiology and Functional Imaging. The journal publishes reports on clinical and experimental research pertinent to human physiology in health and disease. Three types of papers are accepted. Full papers are considered for publication provided they clearly and succinctly report on new observations. Invited reviews and editorials are also published. Brief or preliminary communications of results with immediate interest may also be considered for expedited publication. No part of a paper may have been or may be published elsewhere. The journal is published six times a year.
