Mexican Society of Cardiology

The Mexican Society of Cardiology is a great community for eight decades has been intrinsically committed to the study and research of cardiology, as well as branches of medicine linked to this robust medical speciality. Established on May 27, 1935, the beating of the Mexican Society of cardiology has been characterized by the study, research, teaching, practice and application of knowledge in cardiology and related sciences in the medical, scientific and academic life of the country.

Among its purposes the Mexican Society of Cardiology includes:

• Foster relationships among members of the Society.
• Serve as interlocutors with institutions and cardiological, Mexican and foreign companies.
• To provide the best possible support to educational institutions aimed at the study of cardiology.
• Promote mutual assistance among its partners and other companies to expand the study and research in different areas that make up the branch of cardiology. 
• The Mexican Society of Cardiology has made its mark in the medical, academic and scientific fields in Mexico for eight decades. 

In the organization of scientific meetings, the Mexican Society of Cardiology accepts financial sponsorship from the pharmaceutical, food, medical technology or private promoters in order to provide best in class facilities to the researchers and patients.

In order to stimulate teaching, training, research and training of human resources in Mexican cardiology, the Society, through its Committee on Financial Resources has decided to grant scholarships for its fellow students and researchers.
