The Society for Biomolecular Sciences was originally discovered as the Society for Biomolecular Screening in 1994 to provide a forum for global education and data exchange among professionals in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, and agrochemical industrial units. The society was devoted to increasing interdisciplinary education and communication among organic and, molecular and cellular biologists, microbiologists, biochemists biochemists genomics and proteomics specialists, nano- and robotics technicians, toxicologists, and information and data management specialists. SBS also was committed to promote collaborations among industry, academia and government, and to fostering the highest quality and standards in all areas of drug discovery.
Every year for 16 years, SBS representing the only non-profit scientific and industry conference on molecular screening, presenting new research and information on the latest trends in drug discovery, trends, technologies and equipment.
