Royal Netherlands Air Force Association

The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) is the second most youthful operational part of the Dutch Armed Forces, which comprises of four sections: Navy, Army, Air Force and Military Police. Dutch air power began in July 1913 with the establishing of the association called Army Aviation Group (AAG) at Soesterberg landing strip. Whenever established, the Army Aviation Group worked one air ship, the Brik, which was supplemented with three French Farman HF.20 air ship a couple of months after the fact. These airplane were soon obsolete and the Dutch government requested a few warrior/observation Nieuport and Caudron flying machine to supplant them. The Netherlands kept up an impartial position amid World War I and the Army Aviation Group did not make part in any move, rather building up the power's capacities. Pilot preparing was opened for positions underneath officer, and specialized, flying photography, meteorological and route flights were built up.
