ASBL was created in May 2000 following a need felt by families and in some cases by people with autism themselves. This association is a group of parents whose members of their family is part of the autistic spectrum. All families whether they are Luxembourg or international communities are welcome. The term "autism spectrum" covers all people with autism and those with Asperger Syndrome. All the people who fall under this category are related to ASBL. It aims to better inform the public about the realities of this disorder, development and behaviour. This parents association began to learn about the important parts of autism in 2003.
