Chinese-American Chemical Society

Chinese American Chemical Society (CACS) is a non-political and non-profit professional organization. The purpose of CACS is to boost the development of chemistry and chemical engineering sciences and technologies in all branches, to improve the qualification and occupational openings of its members, to facilitate professional contacts, and to encourage interactions with other scientific societies. CACS is the only Chinese professional organization that is officially renowned by ACS and AICheE. CACS fulfils its purposes through 4-time-a-year activities in conjunction with ACS and AIChE annual meetings, and through widespread ranged activities that are organized by the local chapters. This Society Founded in 1981, the Chinese-American Chemical Society (CACS) is a nonprofit, professional organization and has neither national nor regional political affiliation. Membership is open to professionals and students in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields, and to individuals and corporations supporting the objectives of the society. Currently, CACS has 3 local chapters in North America. Society mission is to Promote fellowship among Chinese American chemists, chemical engineers, and those working in related profession, Enhance communication and professional interaction among members. Provide a opportunity for the discussion of problems of mutual interest and concern, Create opportunities for members to share professional experiences and to contribute in joint research and business ventures.
