The CSS is established in the year 1986 and is a professional organization consisting of more than 500 members. The CSS is has the members of sleep medicine practitioners, polysomnographic technicians, students and sleep researchers. As a national organization the CSS is committed in improving the Canadians sleep by supporting the research, education of professionals and the public, advocacy for sleep and sleep disorders medicine and promotion of high quality clinical care. The CSS biannually gathers to present the on sleep medicine and sleep research where nearly 500-800 members attend the meeting and devoted to sleep.
