Canadian Shorthorn Association

Canadian shorthorn association’s prime objective is to promote shorthorn cattle to commercial beef industries and the seed stock, while maintaining the integrity of the herd book and performance data base. This association acts as a mediator between seller and buyer of cattle. This association breeds the shorthorn cattle which are used for both beef and milk purposes. Shorthorn cattle are rich in beef and this association aims in bringing the best shorthorn breeds. This is one of the prime shorthorn associations which are still running. There are three types of memberships if they wish to register. Members who want to register for this association have to pay membership fee and they have to renewal their membership every year. Annual membership, Junior membership, Associate membership are three membership types. Voting or registration privileges shall not be extended to Associate members. Only annual paid up members of the Canadian Shorthorn Association shall be eligible to register Shorthorn cattle in the Canadian Shorthorn Association Herd Book.
