The american chiropractic association is the wide-reaching professional association representing doctors of chiropractic. ACA advance the highest standards of ethics and patient care, contributing to the health and welfare of millions of chiropractic patients. Motive of the ACA is to provide direction in health care and a positive inspiration for the chiropractic profession and its natural begin to health and wellness. The ACA furthers its mission by affecting public policy and legislation, contribute to high standards in professional ethics and quality of treatment, funding chiropractic research, and generally try to ensure the professional growth and success of the chiropractic profession. ACA was founded in 1922, and in 1930 unite with the Universal Chiropractors Association to form the National Chiropractic Association. In 1963, the NCA was rebuilt under the title of the American Chiropractic Association. Currently ACA provides public relations, professional and educational occasion for doctors of chiropractic, funds research regarding chiropractic and health issues, and offers leadership for the improvement of the profession.
