Smart Materials

As per available reports about 100 journals, 38 Conferences, 51 workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to Smart Materials and about 14968 articles are being published on the current trends in Smart Materials. Smart materials are designed materials that have one or more properties that can be significantly changed in a controlled fashion by external stimuli, such as stress, temperature, moisture, pH, electric or magnetic fields. According to JM Jani (2013) article, smart material are such as shape memory material (SMM) and shape memory technology.
