Paediatric optometry deals with eye issues related to children. Examination of children for vision and its related may be impossible for an optometrist in a single visit to complete all the tests. Younger children of 3-4 months age are being screened for vision related problems using keeler cards for looking, 1-3 years age using Cardiff cards, 2.5 - 4 years of age using Kay crowded pictures for picture matching and above 4 years age using log MAR crowded, sonksen silver for naming or crowded letter matching.
