Nutritional Interventions
Nutritional Interventions are categorized as situational health actions. The purpose of this Intervention is to resolve and to improve the nutrition diagnosis by provision of advice, education and delivery of the food component of a specific diet. There strategies are selected to change nutritional intake, nutrition related knowledge, environmental conditions or access to supportive care and services. It provides the basis for monitoring progress and measuring outcomes. Nutrition intervention is accomplished by two distinct and interrelated steps. These two steps are planning and implementing.
