Nutrients
A substance that provides nourishment essential for the maintenance of life and for growth. Your nutrient requirements are influenced by factors including your age, growth stage and activity. Nutrients are so small that they can’t be seen by the naked eye. Nutrients can generally be broken onto two categories: Macronutrients where carbohydrates, protein and fats are the category and the second one is Micronutrients where vitamins and minerals are the category and calcium, iron, vitamin C are the example.
