Agricultural Science or Agriculture is the cultivation of plants, animals, fungi for food, biofuel, fiber, medicinal plants for sustainability and enhancement of human life. Cultivation includes Modern agronomy, pesticides , fertilizers, technological developments and plant breeding. Agricultural production systems involve Crop cultivation systems, statistics, Livestock production systems, crop alteration, biotechnology, environmental impact, genetic engineering and production practice etc. Horticulture is agricultural science branch that deals with the growing plants. The art, science, technology, and business are included. It includes the cultivation of medicinal vegetables, plants, fruits, vegetables, seeds, herbs, mushrooms, nuts, algae, seaweeds, sprouts and non-food crops, flowers etc.
