Advanced endometrial ablation techniques represent a significant advancement in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, particularly for women who have not responded well to medical treatments. Endometrial ablation is a minimally invasive procedure designed to remove or destroy the lining of the uterus (endometrium) to reduce or eliminate heavy menstrual bleeding. Here’s an overview of the latest advancements in this field. While advanced endometrial ablation techniques offer many benefits, they are not suitable for everyone. Women with certain conditions, such as uterine cancer, significant uterine abnormalities, or those who wish to preserve fertility, may not be candidates. Additionally, potential risks and side effects include infection, bleeding, and, in rare cases, the need for additional procedures.
