Dental anesthesia is a critical component of modern dental practice, essential for providing patient comfort and facilitating complex procedures. However, the administration of anesthesia is inherently associated with various risks, including adverse drug reactions, complications from underlying health conditions, and procedural errors. This paper explores comprehensive risk assessment and management techniques to enhance safety and efficacy in dental anesthesia. We review common risks and complications, including allergic reactions, local anesthetic toxicity, and systemic effects, and provide an overview of risk mitigation strategies.
