Dr. Jay Verma Prakash

Biography

Dr. Jay Prakash Verma worked as Senior Assistant Professor in Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, w.e.f. 26 February, 2011 to continue. My institute is newly established Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in world fame Asia largest University- Banaras Hindu University, which is going to start new research areas on alternative energy resources, natural resource management and global change, sustainable agriculture, and atmospheric pollution. I am completed B.Sc. Degree (Hons.) Botany, M. Sc. Degree in Biotechnology in 2006 and Ph.D. Degree in Soil Microbiology. My research experiences are 9 Year and 4 year teaching in B.Sc., M.Sc.Tech, M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses. My research interest is Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology, Biofertilizer, Bio pesticide, PGPR, PGPF, Sustainable Agriculture, Soil Microbiology, Plant-Soil-Microbe Interaction, Soil Fertility and Soil Health Management and Pesticide Degrading Microbes, Cellulose Degrading Microbes for Bioethanol Production from cellulosic material. I have published 39 Article having more than 60 Impact factors, 28 Abstracts in national and international seminar and conference, 3 book chapters and 1 edited book. I have visited Spain, Paris and Shanghai, China countries. I am serving as Technical Editors in Biotechnology, Journal of Applied Sciences, International Journal of Soil Science, Asian Journal of Biological Sciences and Bacteriology Journal; and Member of Editorial Board in Agriculture for Sustainable Development published by Social and Farmers Welfare Society and Reviewers in various peer reviewed national and international journals of publishers e.g. Nature publishing group, Elsevier, Springer, Willy, Taylor and Francis. We are also Project evaluator: Evaluator of The Czech Academy of Sciences, Science Support Division in Czech Republic, Europeans Commission for expert as project evaluator
