Dr. Rani Calvo is the Head of the Geoinformation Division and GIS (geographical information system) expert. His main field of research comprises the Miocene Hazeva Formation (petrology, sedimentology, and geochemistry) and hydrogeology in the Arava Valley. He is responsible for computerized mapping and is involved in development of the GIS Division and in many GIS projects.”
