Dr. Amal Abd El-hafez Abd El-mageed Ahmed, Assistant Professor and Consultant Pathologist in Faculty of medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt. She was born in Mansoura, Egypt, in 1975. She received the Bachelor degree in medicine from the Faculty of medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt, in 1998, and the Master and Ph.D. degrees in Pathology [basic medical sciences] from the same university in 2005 and 2009 respectively. • In 2000, she joined the Department of Pathology, Faculty of medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt as a demonstrator of pathology, became a Lecturer and Specialist Pathologist in 2010 and in 2015 she became an Assistant Professor and Consultant Pathologist in the same department. • She has an extensive experience in pathology practice, diagnosis and research. Her current research interest includes cancer diagnosis, prognosis and biomarkers as well as all other aspects of surgical pathology and histopathology. Also, she has teaching experience in many accredited Egyptian and Arab medical colleges. She has 25 international and local scientific publications and presentations and participant& attendant of 34 specialty conferences and training courses. • Dr. Amal is currently a member of different local and international scientific organizations and societies. She is a referee as well as an editorial board member in a number of international medical journals.
