Abstract

The exploration of unconventional seed oils -such as hemp seed oil, chia seed oil, and watermelon seed oilpresents a novel approach to enhancing human health. Unlike more widely recognized oils, these unconventional options offer unique nutritional profiles and health benefits. Hemp seed oil is noted for its ideal omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acid ratio and anti-inflammatory properties. Chia seed oil is rich in alpha-linolenic acid and antioxidants, supporting cardiovascular health and cognitive function. Watermelon seed oil provides essential fatty acids and minerals, benefiting skin and hair health. This article examines the distinctive health benefits of these oils, their applications in diet and skincare, and their potential role in modern nutrition.
