Abstract

Eburnation, a pathological condition characterized by the degradation of joint cartilage resulting in bone-on-bone contact, poses significant challenges to affected individuals due to its debilitating effects on joint function and quality of life. This condition commonly occurs in joints subjected to chronic wear and tear, such as the hips, knees, and spine, often leading to severe pain, stiffness, and impaired mobility. Effective therapeutic management of eburnation involves a multifaceted approach tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each patient, integrating non-pharmacological, pharmacological, and surgical interventions to alleviate symptoms and enhance overall joint health.
