Abstract

Biodiversity, the intricate web of life on Earth, is under unprecedented threat due to human activities such as habitat destruction, pollution, climate change, and overexploitation. This article explores the critical role of wildlife conservation in safeguarding biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance. It emphasizes the importance of protecting endangered species and their habitats through strategies like establishing protected areas, habitat restoration, anti-poaching measures, and conservation breeding programs. The challenges to wildlife conservation, including funding constraints, political resistance, and climate change, are discussed. The article also highlights the role of technology in aiding conservation efforts and presents case studies of successful initiatives. Ultimately, the urgency of wildlife conservation is underscored as a global imperative, emphasizing the need for collaborative action to ensure the planet remains a sustainable home for future generations.
