Abstract
Brachytherapy, a form of internal radiation therapy, is increasingly recognized for its effectiveness in palliative care, particularly for patients with localized malignancies. This article explores the role of brachytherapy in enhancing the quality of life for patients with advanced cancer. We examine various applications of brachytherapy, including its use in relieving symptoms associated with pain, obstruction, and bleeding.
