Abstract
This study investigates the impact of screen time on sleep patterns and academic performance among schoolaged children. With the increasing prevalence of digital devices, understanding how screen usage affects sleep quality and educational outcomes is critical. We conducted a survey of parents and teachers regarding screen time habits, sleep quality, and academic performance metrics for children aged 6 to 12. Results indicated that higher screen time correlated with poorer sleep quality, leading to decreased academic performance. These findings highlight the need for guidelines on screen use to promote healthier sleep and better educational outcomes in children.
